The Reveille District by Alan H. Patera
Western Places Volume 8-4
The isolated early mining district of Reveille, located 60 miles east of Tonopah, is little known and little visited, but it has had a long history, dating from the silver discoveries in 1866. This book taps into memoirs and photographs of the Hermann Reischke family, who lived at Reveille from the late 1890s until 1912. The book covers mining developments on both sides of the Reveille Range; the early camp of Reveille on the east side, New Reveille and the Gila (Reveille) mill on the west, as well as the rise of the boom camp of Arrowhead in 1919.
Paperback, 51 pages, 8.5 by 11inches. This book contains numerous photographs, both 19th century ones and others taken recently. People and places are indexed.
