Colorado

    A number of local histories were published by Leland Feitz, so Colorado has not been a priority for Western Places.  We do have a book by Brian Levine entitled Cripple Creek Gold on the exciting gold rush and its communities, and an early issue features an article on Altman, also in the Cripple Creek District.  No publications on Colorado are planned at this time, but a likely subject would be one of the mining areas of Southwestern Colorado.  If you have a particular interest and would like to help develop a publication on any other town in Colorado that has an interesting history, please contact us.
